Men and Women For Fashion Community

Dear readers,

Today, I have decided to launch the Men and Women For Fashion community on Facebook.

It is a community for fashion enthusiasts who enjoy looking at and sharing pictures of well-dressed individuals. As you can imagine, members who "like" the page will be able to post pictures relating to fashion and write about them.

Make fashion interactive and join the community!

Here's a sample of what the page looks like:

Leather Gloves

If you've seen the 2011 movie "Drive", starring Ryan Gosling, you know what I mean when I say this: leather gloves are bad-ass. In fact, I plan on getting some this summer. They express style and character, which is what fashion is all about.

Owning an old fancy car isn't necessary to drive around with leather gloves: Ryan Gosling's character proves that a simple sports car works just fine. Hell, they're so stylish, I'd wear some while driving a Prius...

Considering they come in a wide variety of colors, I would opt for light brown, since they match will pretty much anything (much like light brown watch bands). They are easy to find on the internet and are usually quite affordable. Basically, you have no excuse for not owning a pair.

Going to the Cottage?

Well, here's a few clothing ideas:

1. Cottage by the beach

Since nights by the beach can be pretty chilly, gearing up a long sleeved sweater is the perfect way to do it. Plus, the sleeves will definitely keep you warm if you go on a boat during the day.

And you don't want to have to change clothing when the hot summer day turns to a somewhat chilly summer night? Shorts with a sweater is the right compromise for both situation. Oh and it looks good, as shown on the picture.

2. Cottage in the woods

Okay, going deep into the woods may not seem as sweet as going by the beach, but it doesn't mean you should wear sweat-pants and a hoodie... Go for a classic style: shooting-jacket adapted to a modern coat. In my opinion, it looks pretty damn good and the patch isn't too big that it'll distract! Not only will it keep you warm, but it'll keep the bugs from biting your arms.

Button-Up V-Neck

Worn so well by actor Michael Fassbender (Inglorious Basterds, A Dangerous Method) and by actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter), the button-up V-Neck is a wardrobe must for any self-respecting man. It works with any type of jeans and shorts, and looks awesome. Oh, and girls dig it, so why not!

As for the price of this piece, it's super cheap because it's available absolutely everywhere... So no excuses, guys.

On the Go

If you don't like tucking your shirts in, this look works fine with the shirt out. White, beige and brown is such a timeless combo, you could wear this for one for years and it would still look stylish. And the man-bag? Looks perfect as the belt matches with the bag's band.

The sunglasses fit perfectly along with the short hair and the three-day-old beard.

Yup, I'll be wearing this during the summer.

Casual

Although it's been around for a few years, this simple and laid back look is definitely sticking around. Not because Shia Labeouf wears it so well, but because us guys enjoy quick, easy, throw this-and-that on, type of clothing.

The IWC Schaffhausen watch seems to bring everything together, too: it fits right in.

Young Professional

This suit-and-NO-tie look is simply awesome: it's a great way to look professional for any young, right out of college, man entering the professional world. Great for evenings as well!

What about when meeting with clients? Well, in my opinion, it depends on the time of the day and the age of the clients: young clients at night at a trendy restaurant? Tie-less. Old clients meeting at the office? Keep it... unless they're as goofy as Barry Weiss of Storage Wars.

In any case, I'll be rocking this one during summer 2012 for sure.

Patek Philippe Watch

Ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars, Patek Philippe truly are the Ferrari of watches.

I would kill, literally, to have this watch. This accessory is more than a watch: it's art.

The brown and gold colors gives this one a sophisticated look, which definitely fit right in with the suit and tie business-man look.

Just perfect.

Good-Boy Haircut Come-back

Tom Hardy's haircut in Inception is the real deal. Although it's the haircut I currently have, I'm afraid I don't look any more like him.

With the fohawk days apparently over, the good-boy, hair-to-the-side, appears to be making its comeback.

Bout' time!

Oh, and obviously, the three-day old beard can also tag along... The gold watch can come too...
